Next Monday, March 12th, at 12.30 Stephen Kemp, one of the
principals of Enermodal Engineering will be talking about “Commissioning Low
Energy Buildings”. Enermodal is the leading Canadian Green Building Consulting
firm, I believe that they have worked on about a third of all Canadian LEED
buildings. Their most recent work on using energy models generated during the
design process to commission building during operation is remarkably innovative
especially since they are doing this work without subsidies in a for-profit
context. I think that the presentation will teach us a lot of what we could do
with our campus buildings.
